When she began her professional career, she worked as the commercial model. She made her TV debut by appearing as an extra on the series Friday Night Lights. Around the same period that she was beginning her film career with small parts in films like Detention and DisCONNECTED. Her debut break came in the form of Kristina in General Hospital. The series lasted about one year. She was offered a role as Raven Reyes, the mechanic in The 100's science-fiction show. This gave her huge increase in her professional career. In the beginning, she was just a minor character but over the course of recent seasons, she has become a major part of the story.
